Pumpkin Torte Bottom layer
24 graham crackers finely crumbled
1/3 c sugar
1/2 c butter softened Mix and spread in 9x13 pan.
Cream Cheese Layer
2 eggs
8 oz cream cheese
3/4 c sugar Blend and pour over crust. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Pumpkin Layer
2 c pumpkin
3 egg yolks
1/2 c milk
1/2 c sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon Cook until thickened.
2 envelopes gelatin
1/4 c warm water
3 beaten egg whites
1/4 c sugar
Mix gelatin and water. Fold in beaten egg whites and sugar then add
to the pumpkin mixture. Pour this over cream cheese layer and
refrigerate.
Serve with whipped cream if desired. |
